An assistant is another www.BidRx.com user that is allowed to help you with your www.BidRx.com activities.  If you don't have access to a computer or don't feel comfortable requesting your prescriptions using www.BidRx.com you can invite an assistant to help you.  You still maintain full control over your account.  You can add more than one assistant and also remove an assistant from your account.  Remember, with www.BidRx.com, you are in control of your account.

Who can I invite to be my assistant?

You can invite anyone you want to be your assistant.   It could be your spouse, your adult child, a trusted friend, your physician and even your pharmacist.  Your assistant must have their own www.BidRx.com account in order to accept your invitation.  If they don't already have their own account, they can simply register on www.BidRx.com.

Invite an assistant

To invite an assistant you must sign in to your www.BidRx.com account. On the "My BidRx" page, click on the "Invite Assistant" link in the "BidRx Profile" box on the right side of the page.  This will generate an "Invitation Code", shown in red.  Give this Invitation Code and your date of birth to your desired assistant.  Your date of birth is used to make sure your assistant is entering your invitation code.

You can give this Invitation Code to more than one person if you want more than one assistant.  Note that the Invitation Code must be used within about a week.  

Once your assistant has accepted your invitation, they no longer need the Invitation Code.

Accept an invitation

Your desired assistant can accept your invitation by signing in to www.BidRx.com using their own account.  On their "My BidRx" page, click on the "Accept an Invite" link in the "BidRx Profile" box on the right side of the page.  Then enter the Invitation Code you generated earlier and your date of birth.  Again, the date of birth helps to verify that your Invitation Code has been entered correctly.  Then click the "Accept Invitation" button.  This person is now your assistant.

Removing an Assistant

When you no longer want someone to be your assistant, you can remove them from your account and they will no longer have access to your www.BidRx.com account.  To remove an assistant click on the "My Assistants" link in the "BidRx Profile" box on the right side of the page.  All of your assistants will be listed.  Click on the "Delete" link on the right side of the assistant you want to remove.  A verification page will be shown.  If you really want to remove this assistant, click the "Yes" button, otherwise click the "No" button.
